Freeing up more time to spend with your business AND with your family, that's real, too.
And I want to share it with you in this video (keep reading, or scroll down for video).
But it wasn't always this simple. I came upon this solution when I had to feed dozens of families. I had to come up with a simple meal planning strategy because I had started a small business where I made and delivered fully prepared meals to dozens of other busy parents (full disclosure: I don't have that business anymore — turns out I'm better at creating business strategies for other entrepreneurs and providing dinner for just my own family).
Seriously, the darkest time of day for me was several hours before the sun set. Why? Because people were hungry. Little people were hungry. Big people were hungry. And then it happens. That inevitable question is asked...
"Mom... What's for dinner?""
But my work isn't done. Pajamas will be needed soon (they're in the washer. Which would be a good thing if they hadn't stayed there all day never making it to the dryer. Which means, they stink. Which means, I'll have to run the cycle again. Oh, I'll just run it through a double rinse cycle with white vinegar. Crap! We're out of vinegar!).
"Mom. Mom? Mom!!!!"
It's a good thing they're adorable and that I love them.
Which leads to my giving up my resolve to do "just one more thing" for my business. Fine! I'll put away the Business Mom and transmutate into Making Dinner Mom.
But if you're reading this, you already know what's coming, don't you? It's the blank stare into the refrigerator.
Then comes the squinting into the pantry.
Then, right on queue, the shoulder angel and the shoulder devil start whispering in my ears...
"I bet you could make something out of THAT!"
"No, why torture yourself? Just head down the street. You can have an overpriced, over-salted, pile of junk food on the table in no time!"
Okay, tell me the truth. Does ANY of this sound familiar? Then sistah, we gotta talk!
Because this was my life. Not every day, of course. But more days that I want to admit. I needed a solution.
Great news! I found that solution! And I think you'll absolutely adore this meal planning strategy I'm about to share with you in this video. Enjoy!
